【local foodに関するよくある視点】 地元食材を購入することはエコフレンドリーと考えられています。本来外部から輸送されるもの(例えば安い海外の食材）にはコストだけじゃなく輸送に伴う排気ガスやエネルギー資源の消費という問題が起こります。 地域経済の活性化にもつながります。日本は少子高齢化社会で地方と都市の格差が激しくなっています。具体的には地方の若者が都会に行ってしまうため、高齢者を支えるための労働者がいない、つまり、街に医療費などを補助するお金が不足する。地産地消は経済をうるおすことにつながります。 逆に科学技術、例えば、スマホやネット, ECの発展で、いつでもどこでも各地の食品を買えるようになりました。これは諸刃の剣で、地元食材をサクッとネットで買えるという面もあれば、地元以外の食材を軽々とゲットできてしまう、という面もあります。 なお、現在は世界的に健康志向が強いです。ですから和食が根強い人気があります。この和食は地産地消を基本としています。栄養満点です。健康志向だから、地産地消が今後も増えていく。といった観点でライティングしてもよいですね。

1センテンスが10 wordsくらいを想定したアウトラインとなっています。理論上8センテンスで80 wordsになるはずですが、つなぎのテンプレートを使うと想定しすると、90 wordsくらいになるだろうな、という構成メモです。実際にライティングしてみたところ、下記モデルアンサーで92 wordsでした。

Locally produced food does not need to be transported over long distances. It reduces CO2 emissions. So local food consumption is eco-friendly. Another reason is the development of technology. 【この解答の良いところ】 ・テンプレートを使っており、また、Discourse Markerもあり、展開がはっきりしている(採点しやすい) ・主張と結論でパラフレージングができている（food produced in local areas ➔ local food 等） ・1つの理由につき2センテンスも肉付けがある【1つの理由につき最低1つは肉付けが必要ですからね】
なお、80-100くらいの少ない語数であればパラグラフは1構成が自然でしょう。

16点満点。CSEスコアに換算すると650点満点になります。 なお、Readingが38点、Listeningが30点、Writingが16点という内訳ですが、CSEスコアにすると、全て650点になります。つまり。Writingの1点というのはかなり大きく換算されるということですね。実際に、15点と16点満点の受験生を比べると、換算点に70点の開きがあるというのは普通にあります。 英検では1級あるあるですが、Writing以外が満足いくスコアがとれなかったけど、Writingで大逆転した、というのは、まさに配点の仕組みからきているんですね。
ライティングの基本ステップ
STEP 1 Brainstorm（ブレインストーミング）【1-3min】
Mind Mapping（マインドマップ）などでアイデアを引き出し、広げる。

STEP 2 Outline（アウトライン/構成メモの作成）【2-4min】
●自分な必要なセンテンス数で日本語で軽く流れをメモし、一貫性の確認
＊1つの理由につき、最低1つの追加説明をする【=肉付けをする】ことを忘れないように

STEP 3 Writing（Outlineを見ながら書く）【80-100語なら20min程度】
●アウトラインを見ながら英文に落とし込んでいく

STEP 4 Check & Correct（見直しをする）
●冠詞、単数複数、SVの数一致、品詞などグラマー方面のエラーの有無の確認
STEP 3の最中に語数が足りない、という現象が起きたら、アウトラインのメモを見て、どこに何を追加するかを検討しましょう。逆に不足する場合は、何を削るかもアウトラインで考える。この構成メモが全ての司令塔になるんです。エッセイライティングは準備でほぼ決まると言われますが、この準備がSTEP1と2なんです。
